The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Will Finally Be Available at St-Eustache Mitsubishi

Here you have it! The long-awaited 2018 Outlander PHEV will make its grand entrance in Canada early in 2018. The first plug-in hybrid SUV in the world! The 2018 Outlander PHEV can not only be plugged in to a commercial 240-volt terminal (reaching an 80 percent charge in only 30 minutes), but can also be recharged at home from a regular domestic outlet (for a full charge in 12 hours). You can even have a 240-volt outlet installed at your home and receive a partial rebate, thanks to government initiatives.

The 2018 Outlander PHEV offers two different driving modes: hybrid and all-electric. With zero CO2 emissions and zero fuel consumption, in all-electric mode, the vehicle can achieve a range of approximately 50 km. In hybrid mode, the 2018 Outlander PHEV is expected to consume as little as 1.8 liters per 100 km.

You can keep a close eye on your consumption by downloading the Mitsubishi Remote Control app on your smartphone, allowing you to remotely set your charging schedule, program your climate controls, turn the headlights off and on and check the vehicle status.

Hybrid technology in the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

With Mitsubishi, there's no compromise! With the 2018 Outlander PHEV, you'll benefit from remarkable power, thanks to the S-AWC (Super All-Wheel Control) system, which is combined with a 2 L 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors (one for each axle) to provide incredible energy efficiency without skimping on power. The S-AWC system also gives the Outlander PHEV increased traction and stability in any weather conditions.

Safe like no other, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is equipped with 7 airbags, in addition to a Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM), an Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS), a Lane Departure Warning System (LDW) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). What's more, its Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body is made of high-strength steel, which considerably reduces the consequences of impacts by effectively dispersing their force. This goes a long way toward conserving the integrity of the vehicle cabin.
